Rebecca Parker, Senior Designer of Hindley&Co

Rebecca Parker

Senior Designer

Rebecca and Anne have orbited one another professionally and creatively since studying architecture together at RMIT in the early 90s. Like Anne, Rebecca is keenly interest in fine art, and worked in New York for eight years at celebrated architecture and design practices including Michael Sorkin, Gaetano Pesce, Imagination Inc. and NVDB. A career highlight at the time included a private project she managed, designing art studios and commercial offices for musician, filmmaker and artist David Byrne. At Imagination Inc., Rebecca contributed to exhibition design for the Papalote Children’s Museum in Mexico City and the Samsung pavilion for the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Since returning to Australia in 2003, Rebecca has focused her considerable talents on more intimate residential and creative projects.

Bachelor of Architecture (Honours), RMIT University

At Hindley and Co, she exercises ample skill at conceptual design, and in realising imaginative solutions for both interiors and layout detailing.
