Graduating in Interior Design from RMIT University in 2006, Jess brings over nineteen years of industry experience to the team at Hindley & Co. Her career spans positions at award-winning firms, including MIM Design & Architect Allan Powel, now Powell & Glenn. Jessica's formative years provided her with an important foundation & grounding of knowledge. With Powell, she became an associate and first met Anne Hindley hence the collaboration today. This time solidified Jessica's design philosophy around architecture and design. She became curious about how people think, appreciating the importance of the psychology behind the clients' decisions as much as their aesthetics.

The practice's key values, such as the way gardens connect to the interior spaces, continue to shape Jessica's approach today as well as the way light enters a space, often creating a sense of theatrics and surprise. 'Determined' is a term that resonates with Jessica decades later and in 2016 she created and led her own interior design studio, before joining forces with Hindley & Co today.
